The general rules for the tournament are straightforward. You
must use the same army for each game. The 6th edition set of 40K rules
must be used. Furthermore, contestants should know that this
tournament is for fun, and that poor sportsmanship will not be
tolerated.
- Armies will consist of 1850 points or less, consisting of a Primary Detachment. You may optionally take an Allied Detachment and or a single Fortification.
- All allied detachments will be considered Allies of Convenience regardless of the two armies chosen. This means that any primary army may choose any allied force regardless of the allies matrix. This change to the normal 6th edition rule set governing “Allies” is being done to promote a more fair and balanced tournament experience as the most powerful combination of armies is without a doubt Eldar / Dark Eldar and or “Tau-dar” due largely to the “battle brothers” allies rule.
- The following codices are allowed in the tournament
- Adepta Sororitas
- Blood Angels
- Chaos Daemons
- Chaos Space Marines (and Black Legion)
- Dark Angels
- Dark Eldar
- Eldar (and Iyanden)
